Wild Places, Safe Spaces - Autumn

£547.00

AUTUMN 2026 Cohort

Autumn symbolises a time for reflection, abundance and invites an opportunity to prepare for the future.

❋ Overview

This online course is delivered through a rich blend of theory and practice, balancing personal and professional growth. You will learn how to integrate nature and nature spaces (e.g. woodlands, beaches, gardens, school fields) within child-led play therapy models. We will explore how to bring nature indoors and take clients outdoors, considering risks, barriers, ethics and safety.

In addition, you will be invited to develop your own relationship with nature through regular forest bathing inspired practices.

❋ Welcome Pack

UK based participants will receive a welcome pack containing the course handbook and creative journal, plus accompanying gifts.

❋ Structure

The course consists of four two-hour online training sessions set to take place fortnightly followed by two 90-minute online small group creative supervision sessions.

You will also be invited to complete homework aimed to support your professional and personal development.

❋ Requirements

This course is suitable for qualified play therapists or therapeutic play practitioners registered with a membership body such as BAPT or PTUK.

Please be aware that you must complete a two-day outdoor first aid qualification if you plan on working in nature spaces where a qualified first aider is not available within easy reach.
